Provisions Mushroom Farm is a family owned and operated artisan mushroom farm, nestled in the woods near Capitol State Forest, in Olympia, WA.

Provisions Mushroom Farm has morphed like mycelium over the past 12 years. The farm's humble beginnings started as a 75 member CSA mushroom farm, with the help of veteran Helsing Junction Farm's CSA delivery system. The beginning of the boutique CSA experience in the U.S.. Continuing with CSA, Provisions grew into vending at various Farmers Markets including, Olympia, Proctor Tacoma, Gig Harbor and the West Olympia. For 8 years, Provisions has also produced "My CO2 Kit" mushroom bags (natural co2 production) for indoor garden supply stores in the local area.

Farming Practices

Provisions Mushroom Farm cultivates fresh, gourmet mushrooms. Varieties include, Oyster, Shiitake, Pioppino, and Lions Mane. Season permitting, wild Chanterelles and Lobster mushrooms are also provided. Our cultivated mushrooms are grown on organic substrates. The mushrooms you will receive have been grown and harvested with the up most respect of people and planet.

Farm Founder, Christian Kaelin is continuing to expand Provisions outreach by educating and helping others diversify, through the integration of mushroom cultivation and soil remediation into their farm systems.
