About

We are a Holly and Sour Cherry Farm located in Junction City, Lane County, Oregon. Enter the farm through a rose lined driveway, breathe in the fresh air from the country, and take in the picturesque views of the nature around you. That or let us ship some of our farm to you by purchasing a beautiful, yet traditional Holly Wreath or bulk fresh cut Holly.

Hollyaire Farms was a 110 acre Farm owned and operated by Vaughn and Mary Ball. Hollyaire was a second home to the Ball Family which they moved back to after retirement. At the time Hollyaire grew cherries, both sweet and sour, blackberries, walnuts, peaches, filberts, and their most known crop - Holly trees which were harvested and used during the Holiday season for Christmas wreaths. Holly decor was mailed around the globe. Vaughn Ball passed away in 1991 after 50 years of marriage to Mary. Hollyaire was split up and sold. Yet the Holly and sour cherry trees still remain on about 15 acres. To bring back a beautiful agricultural history, this 15 acres is known once again as Hollyaire.

Farm visits can be scheduled, rate for farm visits are $30 an hour for up to 4 people. Farm visits include demonstration of Holly harvest and wreath making during the winter season. Walk among the 40+ year old Holly trees. In the fall, you can make fresh apple cider. The cherry orchard blooms in April. In the summer you can tour the sour cherry orchard and during cherry harvest in July, you can pick fresh sour cherries.

Photography sessions can be booked for $50 for 1 hour, you must have your own photographer. Prime seasons for photography are in the spring when the cherry orchard is blooming and in the winter when the Holly orchard has its bright red berries.
