Our hours of operation are variable depending on the supply of berries to pick. Current price is $2.85 per pound. We have two gallon buckets and one gallons buckets for picking. Call 903 674-2477 for daily message about whether we will be open or closed on the current or next day. Hours are generally from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The temperature and humidity normally make it too hot to pick after 11 a.m. Grass is usually wet in the morning due to normally heavy dew. Suggest wearing head cover. Insects are usually not a problem but due to the heavy rain this year, the mosquito population is heavier than normal. Sometimes gnats are bothersome. Here and there you may encounter a fire ant mound. So watch where you stand. Our blueberry bushes are Northern Highbush blueberries which ripen first. We also have rabbiteye blueberries which ripen around the last week of June and early July.
