Lineage Farm
520 Clinton Street, Hudson, NY, 12534
About
Our farm is located in the Hudson Valley, between Claverack and Philmont, just 6 miles outside of Hudson. We grow a large variety of vegetables for our CSA members in Philmont, Hudson, Poughkeepsie, and Greenpoint, Brooklyn, following the principles and practices of biodynamic and organic agriculture, with permaculture principles and ideals as a guiding light. We are excited to invite community members to enjoy our beautiful vegetable fields and surrounding countryside through volunteering, interning, visiting, joining as an on-farm member

Farming Practices
As Farmers, we work to become aware of the subtleties in nature, to not view nature as a series of disparate parts unrelated to one another. Plants come to be known as sense organs of the earth. If a farm is showing unhealthy plants, simply making them bigger by spraying them with fertilizer or killing off the pests with insecticide will not solve the land’s underlying, long-term health and sustainability concerns
