About

We are located in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, among the picturesque redwood trees of the Northern California Coast, about 60 miles north of San Francisco.

Dairy goats are the primary focus at our diversified farm. Their Grade A milk supplies Redwood Hill Farm & Creamery with the raw material for award-winning goat dairy products. In addition, we supply quality dairy goat breeding stock for farmers across the United States. Our farm has diversified over the years to include olive and fruit orchards, a hop yard, chickens, beehives, and organic gardens.

Environmental sustainability has always been a farm priority. Our farm activities and two homes are all powered by solar energy. We have installed rainwater catchment tanks for water conservation. We are proud to have been the first goat dairy in the United States to be Certified Humane®.

Farming Practices

Our farm has always been committed to the health, happiness, and ethical treatment of our dairy goats—and sustainability in all we do. Animal welfare is so important to us. We are proud to have been the first goat dairy in the nation to be Certified Humane® by Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC). HFAC, an impartial third-party certifier, is considered the “gold standard” of humane certification in the United States. HFAC certification requires adhering to species-specific standards that promote and maintain farm animals’ health and happiness, allowing them the ability to engage in a full range of their natural behaviors.
