About
We are a family owned farm & orchard which started in 1996. Owners Annette and Dick Pershern and their daughters Lauren and Meghan all work on this farm. Our family moved out to Pleasant Hill in 1993 and began planting fruit trees. We have planted Asian and European pears as well as Oregon Hazelnuts. Come visit our farm and have a great experience with your family. We have a small farm store where we sell fresh picked produce, baked goods, jams/jellies, hazelnuts, fresh, locally roasted coffee, chicken eggs, jewelry and soaps from a local business, Friday's at the Farm. Our farm store also includes a bakery where Annette bakes pies and makes jams using our fresh picked berries. Dick works in the fields with daughter Lauren. They move pipe, mow and plow fields and what ever else needs to be done. Annette bakes on the weekends in our farm kitchen, and daughter Meghan is there to assist you in the farm store, greeting customers with smiles and a helping hand. Our farm is a busy place, with lots of work to do, but we are always more than happy to share our life on our farm with you. Come out for a visit and see why it is better to "Come shop where it grows!"

Farming Practices
We use several different practices, depending on the crop grown. Tree fruits and hazelnuts are grown using integrated pest management. Our cane berries (marionberry, raspberry) are naturally grown. We use both organic and synthetic inputs, including chemical pesticides sprayed on the edible portion, in some cases. We use pre-emergent herbicides on land where we grow strawberries, and there are no sprays on our strawberries once planted.
