Super Natural Farm

About

Super Natural is a Certified Organic Farm that focuses on high-quality, ethically produced food crops. On nine total and six cultivated acres, this farm grows a mix of unique and heirloom varieties, both annual and perennial vegetables, fruits, and standard staples that everybody knows. The farm is home and work to partners Sarah and Matthew, and their young daughter, Charlotte.
​Located 25 minutes West of McMinnville or an hour and a half from Portland, the land is productive, quaint and tidy, nestled in the cool and breezy foothills of the Coast Range and the beautiful West Valley of Yamhill County.
Animals raised on this farm are given plenty of space and rotated on Certified Organic pasture; they have unlimited access to fresh air and sunshine, spring water, grass, bugs, and non-GMO, corn and soy free grain (just white wheat, peas, kelp, and Nutri-Balancer, a vitamin-mineral supplement), fresh and hammer-milled from Mosaic Farms, out of Philomath, Oregon.
The farm serves a diverse host of direct markets, including a thriving Online Public Marketplace, farmers markets, local restaurants, and select wholesale retailers in Yamhill, Clackamas, and Multnomah counties.
In an effort to minimize farm waste and promote greater public health, Super Natural Farm also has a seasonal line of fermented food products, including sauerkraut, kim chi, salsas and pickles, offered for sale through the Online Public Marketplace and at Farmers Market venues.
Food here is grown with good intention and integrity, by farmers who care about the land and love what they do.

Crop rotation
Cover and green manure cropping
Composted and recycled, natural and sustainable soil amendments, including food and chicken manure.
No genetically engineered seeds or crops, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides.
Preventative pest control methods, integrated in daily practice.
We plant habitat that attracts beneficial insects, birds and pollinators.
Host bees seasonally and practice micro and rotational grazing with small livestock.
Super Natural considers water to be a non-renewable resource and therefore takes great care in conservation. We utilize deep mulch, integrated cover crop, and drip irrigation whenever possible. The farm has irrigation water rights from Willamina Creek and makes use of a a 5500 gallon rain water catchment system.
